Job summary

Terra-Gen, LLC seeks a trainee to assist in the safe, efficient operation and maintenance of wind turbines and related equipment in Texas. Under supervision you will perform basic mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation tasks and complete training within the designated frame.

You will gain experience reading meters, documenting activities, and supporting the site team to ensure reliability and safety of the assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Interest in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
• Basic computer skills for docs and records.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the operation of wind turbine systems under supervision.
• Learn maintenance procedures: changing filters, greasing, fluids and parts.
• Complete required safety trainings and read meters/gauges.
• Maintain logs, paperwork and site cleanliness; support travel as needed.
• Provide backup support and assist teammates during overtime or holidays.
