Job summary

Avangrid Power is seeking a Supervisor - Advanced Maintenance to lead a team of skilled wind turbine technicians across North America. You will oversee complex maintenance and repair operations for multiple turbine manufacturers, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on site and during deployments.

The role requires strong mechanical skills, wind industry experience, and willingness to travel up to 80% with a focus on teamwork and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Two-year college or technical school certificate; or 4+ years of related experience or power industry training.
• Proven wind turbine maintenance experience including inspections, repairs, and replacements.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on wind turbine maintenance experience.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
• Ability to work around low and medium voltage.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment and crane/rigging requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of field technicians across North America.
• Oversee turbine maintenance and repair operations with safety and quality focus.
• Coordinate logistics and mentoring during deployments.
• Develop and revise corrective procedures with SME input.
• Travel up to 80% as required.
