Job summary

Avangrid Power is seeking an Advanced Maintenance Team Supervisor to lead a skilled field operations team across North America, overseeing complex turbine maintenance and repair activities for multiple manufacturers while ensuring safety, quality and client satisfaction.

The role requires up to 80% travel and near a windfarm location to support on-site deployments, coaching technicians, and coordinating logistics to deliver performance at every job.

Qualifications

• Two-year college or technical school certificate; or 4+ years of related experience or power industry training.
• Proven experience in wind turbine component inspection, repairs and replacement.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on wind turbine maintenance experience.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and around low/medium voltage.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment, crane and rigging requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a field operations team across North America and coordinate turbine maintenance activities.
• Ensure safety, quality and efficiency in maintenance and repair operations for multiple turbine manufacturers.
• Mentor technicians, coordinate logistics, and maintain client satisfaction.
• Train site technicians on corrective maintenance and crane-less operations.
• Plan and execute projects for gearbox, blade, and generator components.
