Job summary

AVANGRID POWER is seeking an Advanced Maintenance Team Supervisor to lead highly skilled field technicians across North America. You will oversee complex turbine maintenance and repair operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across multiple manufacturers.

This role requires travel and strong leadership to coordinate deployments and mentor staff. The supervisor will coordinate logistics, manage client relations, and provide technical guidance while supporting training and

Qualifications

Two-year college or technical school certificate; or 4+ years of related experience or power industry training.
Proven experience in wind turbine component inspection, repairs and replacement.
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on wind turbine maintenance experience.
Ability to work in extremely adverse weather conditions.
Knowledge of heavy equipment with crane and rigging requirements.
Valid Driver's License and ability to climb tall wind turbines.

Responsibilities

Strict management and compliance with environmental, health and safety programs.
Operate equipment for wind turbine maintenance including crane-less and crane operations.
Train technicians on crane-less operations and coordination for major replacements.
Develop technical documentation such as service bulletins and work instructions.
Lead field operations projects for gearboxes, blades, generators service or replacement.
Coach and develop team personnel and ensure client satisfaction.
