Job summary

Avangrid seeks a Supervisor for Advanced Maintenance to lead a skilled field operations team across North America in wind turbine maintenance and repair. The role requires substantial travel (up to 80%) and prior wind industry maintenance leadership experience, with a strong mechanical background and crane/rigging familiarity.

Qualifications

• Two-year college or technical school certificate or 4+ years of related experience.
• Proven experience in wind turbine component inspection, repairs and replacement.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on wind turbine maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations for wind turbine maintenance across North America.
• Oversee crane-less and crane-based maintenance activities for major components.
• Coordinate logistics and mentor technicians in field deployments.
• Ensure safety, quality, and client satisfaction during deployments.
