Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Tiger Team Technician II to support wind farm operations across multiple sites in the U.S. The role focuses on maintenance tasks including bearing and gearbox work, pitch ram exchange, troubleshooting, and safety training, with a strong emphasis on reliable equipment and teamwork.

This full-time, non-exempt position requires flexibility to travel up to 50% and to work in varied outdoor conditions, with a path toward advanced certifications and leadership within the

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Wind, Solar and BESS.
• Alternative: 2- or 4-year technical degree with journeyman/master electrician license.
• Unrestricted driver license in good standing.
• Willing to relocate within 1 hour drive of site.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Awareness of environmental and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Assure that all activities are performed safely per site policies and procedures.
• Pass fitness tests to maintain Global Wind Organization Certification.
• Climb wind towers daily to perform maintenance tasks.
• Lift, carry, and transport equipment to the job site.
• Monitor maintenance contractors and ensure corrective actions.
• Lead and conduct tests after maintenance or outages.
• Perform turbine maintenance including bearing, pitch ram, gearbox and shaft work.
• Willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.
