The role requires a high school diploma and 2+ years in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic fields; a college degree is a plus. Expect up to 15% travel and a strong focus on reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required. 2+ years in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic fields preferred.
• College degree in related wind farm/technical field is desirable. Various combinations of education, training, and experience considered.
• Ability to work safely in a team; body weight restrictions and a medical fitness evaluation are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service Siemens wind turbines at the Stoney Corners Wind Farm in McBain, MI.
• Work safely in hazardous conditions, respond to repairs promptly, and collaborate with technicians.
• Prioritize tasks, plan daily work, and adapt to demanding field environments.
• Travel up to 15% to sites, training facilities, and other locations as needed.
• Support wind farm operations and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
