Job summary

Siemens Gamesa in Carroll, Nebraska seeks a hands-on wind turbine technician to join our field service team. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safety standards are met during every shift.

This role requires climbing ladders, driving to sites, and lifting tasks while supporting service offers and collaborating with engineering to resolve complex problems.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to climb 85m ladders daily and work at heights.
• Willingness to travel to other sites and work overtime as needed.
• Must pass pre-hire drug screening and medical clearance.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and troubleshoot wind turbines and raise technical issues to engineering functions while following processes.
• Perform predefined technical tasks and on-site or remote work packages.
• Support customers remotely and on-site, providing level 2/3 user support as needed.
• Coordinate service operations and resolve issues for customer equipment.
• Assist in generating sales leads for defined service offers and aid planning activities.
