Job summary

Nordex Group is seeking a Service Technician I to ensure safe and efficient operation of wind turbine generators. You will perform routine maintenance, assist with troubleshooting, and support on-site operations to maximize turbine availability and contribute to our renewable energy goals.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 0–2 years of related experience, and the ability to work at heights. A strong safety mindset and teamwork are essential for success in this on-site position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical wind energy or engineering education preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in wind energy, industrial maintenance, or related fields.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and at heights.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine wind turbine maintenance and basic repairs following established procedures.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues under supervision.
• Complete maintenance reports and manage service tickets; maintain records of turbine performance.
• Support inventory, tools, and materials; prepare documentation for scheduled work.
