Job summary

Nordex Group in Iowa is seeking an experienced Electrical Production Technician to assemble and wire electrical systems in wind turbine nacelles and hubs. You will work on control panels, sensors, and harnesses following established safety and environmental procedures.

The role requires strong reading of schematics and the ability to verify continuity with testing equipment. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in electrical assembly, familiarity with crane operation, and the willingness to obtain

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; electrical certifications or training preferred.
• 3+ years of electrical assembly or manufacturing experience.
• Experience with wind turbines, industrial, or automotive electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install electrical components in wind turbine nacelles and hubs.
• Route and secure wiring harnesses, connectors, and control systems.
• Use testing equipment to verify electrical continuity and system functionality.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve procedures.
• Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
