Job summary

Nordex SE is seeking an Assembly Operator - Electrical Production Technician on 2nd shift to install and wire electrical systems in wind turbine nacelles. You’ll handle control panels, sensors, and harnesses while following safety and ISO procedures.

The role requires 3+ years in electrical assembly, hand tools, and reading electrical diagrams. On-site work in West Branch, IA with a comprehensive benefits package and team-focused culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Electrical certifications or technical training preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical assembly or manufacturing.
• Experience with wind turbines, industrial, or automotive electrical systems.
• Ability to read work instructions and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install electrical components in wind turbine nacelles and hubs.
• Route and secure wiring harnesses, connectors, and control systems.
• Use testing equipment to verify electrical continuity and system functionality.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve procedures.
• Support other production areas as assigned by the supervisor.
