Job summary

Vestas Windsor is hiring Production Team Members for 12‑hour evening shifts (6pm-6am) to help build wind turbine blades from fiberglass and other materials at the Windsor facility. You’ll support energy production for homes in the US.

As a Production Team Member, you will operate manufacturing equipment safely, follow work instructions, and assemble components to meet production targets. The role requires a high school diploma, 2 years in a fast-paced setting, and the ability to pass safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of work history in a fast-paced, physical environment.
• Must communicate effectively in English, reading, writing and speaking.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Basic system skills - Microsoft Office, SAP and Apriso preferred.
• Must pass confined spaces test as required.
• Must pass a respiratory fit test as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment with a strong commitment to safety.
• Adhere to Process Work Instructions and assemble components.
• Exceed production benchmarks by completing tasks within the time frame.
• Lift, position, and remove material from work areas.
• Load, stack and transport materials by hand, truck, crane or jib.
• Read and translate Work Process Instructions into tasks.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
