Job summary

Vestas Windsor Production facility is seeking Production Team Members for 12‑hour evening shifts (6pm–6am) to help craft wind turbine blades from fiberglass and other materials. You will join a safety‑driven team energizing homes across the US by delivering blade components for the V163-4.5 MW turbine and 2 MW platforms.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, 2 years in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, and 6–12 months experience in composites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of work history in a fast-paced, physical environment, manufacturing preferred.
• 6–12 months of related manufacturing experience (in composites).
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Basic system skills—Microsoft Office, SAP and Apriso preferred.
• Must pass confined spaces test as required.
• Must be able to pass a respiratory fit test as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment with a strong commitment to safety protocols.
• Adhere to Process Work Instructions and fit/assemble components (bolts, screws, shafts, bearings).
• Exceed production benchmarks by completing tasks within the designated timeframe.
• Lift, position, and remove material from work areas.
• Load, stack and transport materials by hand, truck, crane or jib.
• Read and translate Work Process Instructions into tasks.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
