Job summary

Vestas Windsor, CO seeks a Production Team Member for 12-hour night shifts (6pm-6am) to help manufacture wind turbine blades from fiberglass and related materials.

You will operate manufacturing equipment, follow safety protocols, and assemble components per Work Instructions, aiming to meet production benchmarks. Prior manufacturing experience and English communication skills required; training and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of work history in a fast-paced, physical environment; manufacturing preferred.
• 6–12 months of related manufacturing experience in composites or similar.
• Must communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Basic system skills: Microsoft Office, SAP and Apriso preferred.
• Must pass confined spaces test as required.
• Must be able to pass a respiratory fit test as required.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently operates manufacturing equipment with safety protocols.
• Adheres to Work Instructions and engages in manual production processing to assemble components.
• Exceed production benchmarks by completing tasks within the designated timeframe.
• Lift, position, and/or remove material from work areas.
• Load, stack and transport materials by hand, truck, crane or jib.
• Read and comprehend Work Process Instructions and translate into tasks.
• Ad hoc duties as assigned.
