Job summary

Vestas Windsor Production facility is hiring Production Team Members for 12-hour evening shifts (6pm-6am). Join a dynamic team building wind turbine blades from fiberglass and other materials, powering homes across the US.

You’ll work in a large 666,000 sq ft facility on 161 acres, producing blades for the V163-4.5 MW turbine and the 2 MW platform, with opportunities to grow in a safety-focused, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of work history in a fast-paced, physical environment.
• Must communicate effectively in English (reading, writing and speaking).
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and memos.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office; familiarity with SAP and Apriso.
• Must pass confined spaces test and respiratory fit test.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow Work Instructions to assemble components.
• Meet production benchmarks and contribute to team goals.
• Lift, position, and remove materials as needed.
• Load, stack, and transport materials by hand, forklift, or crane.
• Read and follow Work Process Instructions.
• Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned.
