Job summary

Vestas in Windsor, CO is hiring a Production Team Member for 12-hour night shifts (6pm-6am) to help manufacture wind turbine blades from fiberglass and other materials. You will join a team that contributes to energizing homes across the US by delivering high-quality components.

The position requires 2 years in a fast-paced environment, basic software skills, and willingness to work in a manufacturing setting with safety protocols. Latex, epoxy, and fiberglass exposure is possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years in a fast-paced, physical environment; manufacturing preferred.
• English literacy including reading, writing and speaking required.
• Basic MS Office, SAP and Apriso familiarity.
• Must pass confined spaces test as required.
• Must pass a respiratory fit test as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment with a strong commitment to safety protocols.
• Adhere to Work Instructions and assemble components into finished assemblies.
• Strive to exceed production benchmarks by completing tasks within designated timeframes.
• Lift, position, and remove material from work areas as needed.
• Load, stack and transport materials by hand, truck, crane or jib.
• Read and translate Work Process Instructions into actionable tasks.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
