Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) is seeking an Engineering Technician - Mechanic to operate and maintain an industrial wind tunnel test facility in White Oak, Maryland. You will join an integrated team supporting USAF Test Operations and Sustainment efforts and advance toward becoming a qualified operator of control systems.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 0–5 years of relevant experience, and the ability to obtain a security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 0-5 years of progressive and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain industrial machinery in a wind tunnel test facility.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and operate mechanical and test systems.
• Assemble and disassemble precision mechanical components in lab and field.
• Operate hand and machine tools and become qualified to operate large equipment like cranes and forklifts.
• Maintain a safe workplace and wear PPE as directed.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers.
