Job summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Technician - Mechanic, supporting TOS II, at Tunnel 9 in White Oak, Maryland. The Engineering Technician will be working as a member of an integrated team responsible for operating and maintaining the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts.

The successful candidate will perform the role of an Engineering Technician with the primary responsibilities of operating and maintaining industrial

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 0-5 years of progressive and relevant experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance and the AEDC local area network.
• Current U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain mechanical and electrical systems to support safe operation.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and operate pumps, compressors, and high pressure tubing systems.
• Begin training to become a qualified operator of various industrial control systems.
• Perform maintenance to keep test facility equipment in operation.
• Assemble and disassemble precision components in lab and field settings.
• Operate hand and machine tools and become qualified to operate cranes and forklifts.
• Maintain a safe workplace and wear PPE as directed.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers.
