Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables is launching the TOP Wind Service Technicians program, offering structured training and a clear career path in wind power. Technicians will perform preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbine equipment at sites near home, with emphasis on safety and collaborative teamwork.

The role reports to the Program Manager and Site Manager, with training accredited through the Global Wind Organization.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (Sky Climber does not provide sponsorships).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license; pass a motor vehicle record check.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening; read, write, and understand English.
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree in a technical mechanical field, wind energy discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Mechanical or electrical background; read and interpret basic diagrams and wiring schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely.
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment.
• Accurately document all work performed.
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures.
• Willing to travel up to 25%.
