Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables is offering TOP – Wind Technician Level 1 through a structured entry-level development program. Technicians will receive exclusive training accredited through GWO and perform preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbine equipment.

Position reports to Program Manager and Site Manager; travel up to 25% may be required. This full-time role includes comprehensive benefits and potential for advancement within a growing renewable energy organization.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorships)
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire
• Preferred: Associate’s degree in technical/mechanical field or wind energy experience
• Mechanical or electrical background is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment
• Accurately document all work performed
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures
