Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables seeks an entry-level Wind Technician to join the Tech One Program. You’ll receive exclusive safety and technical training (GWO) and work as part of a service team to maintain wind turbine equipment at sites near your home.

Expect hands-on learning, a clear career path, competitive pay, and a benefits package. Travel up to 25% may be required as you grow your wind power skills with us.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Live within 1-hour commuting distance to job site unless relocating
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment
• Accurately document all work performed
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental procedures
