Job summary

Enel North America Inc. is seeking a Technician I to inspect, troubleshoot, install components and repair wind turbines and related components.

You will review manuals and diagrams to determine tasks, tools, and parts required, performing planned maintenance while assisting more senior technicians to return turbines to service. The role involves executing scheduled maintenance, testing components, and supporting QA/QC activities across the wind fleet.

Qualifications

• High school completion and 1+ year related experience or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Ability to use electrical test equipment and read diagrams
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and diagnostic tools

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled maintenance for mechanical, hydraulic and electrical equipment to maximize generation
• Install, test, maintain and troubleshoot minor components and assist with major components
• Perform current and voltage calculations as necessary
• Initiate reports and records for maintenance and repairs
• Comply with safety policies and inventory controls in a wind farm environment
