Sky Climber Renewables' TOP Wind Service Technicians participate in the Tech One Program, a structured career path for entry‑level wind technicians, with training near home and real hands‑on turbine maintenance experience.

You will receive Global Wind Organization accredited safety and technical training, work on wind sites as part of a service team, and advance through a program designed to build your skills, reliability, and career in renewable energy.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (Sky Climber does not provide sponsorships)
• Must live within 1-hour commuting distance to job site unless actively relocating to the area
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire
• Associate’s degree in a technical mechanical field, wind energy discipline, or equivalent technical experience (preferred)
• Mechanical or electrical background
• Ability to read and interpret basic diagrams and wiring schematics

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment
• Accurately document all work performed
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures
• Willing to travel up to 25%
