Job summary

ENCAVIS Management GmbH & Co. KG in Neubiberg and Hamburg is seeking a Technical Operations Manager Wind to ensure reliable operation across our wind farm portfolio. You will monitor performance, coordinate maintenance, manage incidents, and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires a technical degree, wind energy experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work with international teams, with travel to inspections and project meetings.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or comparable discipline.
• Wind energy experience in operation, maintenance, service, or performance management of onshore wind farms.
• Strong understanding of wind turbine technology, operational processes, maintenance requirements, and performance drivers.
• Analytical and solution-oriented thinking.
• Independent working style; structured, owns tasks and drives topics forward.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel; experience with SCADA/data analytics is advantageous.
• Good communication in German and English; willing to travel; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performance monitoring & analysis of wind farms; improve availability and energy yield.
• SCADA & operational monitoring; analyze alarms, faults, and events.
• Coordinate external operators, service providers, and turbine manufacturers; root-cause analyses.
• Maintenance, inspections & acceptance; oversee preventive and corrective activities.
• Warranty, insurance & case management; coordinate technical disputes.
• Reporting & documentation; prepare technical reports and asset records.
• Continuous improvement & compliance; support operational excellence initiatives.
