Deutsche Windtechnik seeks a Senior Wind Electrical Technician to lead on-site maintenance and troubleshooting for wind turbines. You will perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic tasks, serve as in-charge or site team leader, and drive safe, efficient operations while maintaining strong customer relations.

The role emphasizes advanced fault diagnosis, component retrofits, and coordinating large teams across projects with a focus on quality and reliability in the US market.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; an associate degree is a bonus.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Wind Turbine Technician.
• Valid driver’s license (non-CDL or CDL).
• Ability to read and interpret documents and follow safety rules.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision following proper instructions.
• Ability to pass a physical exam and drug/alcohol screening.
• Lift and move up to 100 pounds; climb up to 300 ft in gear.
• Experience on Senvion preferred; other platforms welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbines.
• Lead large corrective teams with major component replacements.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Assist and lead site teams; maintain safety and housekeeping standards.
• Develop customer relationships and report progress and issues.
