Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Commodity Leader to oversee the North American labor supply chain supporting Wind Service Operations, driving cost efficiency while ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are met.

You will develop regional commodity strategies, negotiate with suppliers, manage contracts, and collaborate with global teams to align market trends with business needs and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university.
• Minimum 5 years of sourcing or global supply chain experience.
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as required, estimated at 20%.

Responsibilities

• Drive cost out projects and negotiations with suppliers and cross functional teams.
• Collaborate with finance partners to develop annual budgets based on price negotiations.
• Manage supplier contracts, service agreements and terms and conditions with preferred suppliers.
• Develop and execute long term regional commodity strategies for a diverse group of suppliers.
• Collaborate with global supporting resources to meet schedules and timelines.
• Lead supplier evaluation, development, and overall supplier management with focus on safety, quality, delivery & cost.
• Interact with site teams to understand business needs and optimize supply chain strategies.
• Develop technical and market expertise in commodity areas.
• Drive Supplier Scorecard process for Partner Suppliers.
