Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Flow Parts Lead to serve as the primary customer service contact for external wind farm component orders. You will manage orders end-to-end, coordinate with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality and Finance to ensure accurate communication and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at handling multiple orders in a fast-paced industrial environment, with strong collaboration and problem-solving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Customer service/ parts fulfillment role)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer service, order management, customer fulfillment, logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
• Ability and willingness to travel 10% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding external orders, order status, delivery timing, and fulfillment-related questions.
• Receive, review, and process customer purchase orders and ensure order requirements are accurately captured in internal systems.
• Validate order details, including part numbers, quantities, pricing, requested delivery dates, shipping requirements, and customer-specific requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams to establish realistic production and delivery commitments.
• Monitor customer orders throughout the fulfillment process and proactively communicate status updates, delays, changes, or potential risks.
• Coordinate shipment planning and delivery activities with Logistics, Warehousing, and transportation providers.
• Track order milestones and ensure customer commitments are met.
• Investigate and resolve order discrepancies, shortages, delivery issues, damaged shipments, and other fulfillment-related concerns.
• Coordinate with Sales and Account Management on customer requests, changes, expedited orders, cancellations, and other exceptions.
• Maintain accurate customer and order information in ERP/CRM systems.
• Provide customers with order acknowledgments, confirmations, shipment information, tracking details, and other required documentation.
• Partner with Finance on invoicing, credits, payment issues, and other order-to-cash matters as needed.
• Support resolution of quality or warranty-related customer issues by coordinating with Quality and technical teams.
• Identify recurring fulfillment issues and recommend process improvements to increase customer satisfaction, order accuracy, and on-time delivery.
• Maintain organized records of customer communications, order changes, and fulfillment activities.
• Support reporting and analysis of order backlog, on-time delivery, open issues, and other customer fulfillment metrics.
• Perform other duties related to customer order fulfillment and service as assigned.
