Job summary

Mortenson Construction is seeking an equipment operator for the Heritage Prairie Wind Project in Reddick, IL. You will operate a range of heavy equipment, follow safety policies, and support project objectives.

Base compensation ranges from $47.15 to $63.50 per hour, with pay positioned within the range based on knowledge, skill and experience. You will perform routine maintenance and monitor for malfunctions, contributing to high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment (blade, dozer, loader, scraper, crane, forklift, telehandler, etc.) per project requirements.
• Follows prescribed safety regulations and project plans.
• Maintains housekeeping in assigned area and performs routine maintenance.
• Observes equipment operation to detect malfunctions and reports issues.
• Follows pre-task cards and collaborates with team to adapt to changing needs.
