Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an equipment operator for the Highland Repower Wind Project in Primghar, IA. The role requires following Mortenson safety policies and project guidelines to operate multiple pieces of equipment as directed.

Responsibilities include operating the listed machinery, maintaining safety standards, performing routine maintenance, and following work plans. You will collaborate with diverse teams and take on additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of related experience.
• Equipment certifications as required.
• Current driver’s license with necessary endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment (blade, dozer, loader, scraper, forklift/telehandler, crane, bobcat/skid-steer, boom lifts, roller, backhoe, track crane) as project requires.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain clean, orderly work areas.
• Perform routine maintenance, monitor operation, and detect malfunctions.
• Follow work plans and pre-task cards.
• Build relationships with diverse teams and levels of the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
