AES is seeking a Wind Project Developer to lead day-to-day renewable energy project development across the Eastern United States, including NYISO and PJM. This role offers exposure to cross-functional teams and growing ownership of complex projects.

You will manage early- and mid-stage development activities, coordinate interconnection, land, permitting, environment, engineering, and commercial teams while traveling about 30% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 4–8 years in project development or related field.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of renewable energy project development, interconnection processes, permitting, and contracting.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.

Responsabilités

• Lead project development budgets, schedules, and risk management.
• Own project development schedules and budgets with leadership support.
• Identify, assess, and resolve risks across permitting, policy, commercial, technical, and schedule-related workstreams.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts among project partners and subject-matter experts.
• Facilitate project meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
