Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Project Manager to lead site-wide programs within wind turbine services, coordinating scope from mobilization to final acceptance. You will work with engineering to ensure accurate work instructions and maintain safety compliance across countries.

You will manage cost and schedule metrics, address barriers, and communicate progress to multiple stakeholders. A bachelor's degree and wind experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the Services & Retrofit/Upgrade in wind turbines.
• Experience with ORACLE purchasing system/invoicing and debriefing systems.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Established project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full scope of site activities from mobilization to final acceptance and coordinate parts and labor.
• Attain customer approval for implementation of the designated work scope.
• Work with engineering to ensure accurate work instructions and updates.
• Ensure safety requirements are met and develop any required LOTO procedures.
• Establish and maintain cost and schedule performance metrics.
• Identify and mitigate barriers or delays in program execution.
• Provide regular cost debriefings to keep the budget on track.
• Provide regular schedule updates in systems of records.
• Lead moderate to large scale programs (100 to 1000s of turbines).
• Report progress to multiple levels within the organization.
