Job summary

Invenergy LLC in Illinois seeks an Operations & Maintenance Manager for the Bishop Hill III Energy Center. You will oversee day-to-day operations, safety, and environmental compliance, leading a team of technicians and support staff to maintain reliability of a 132 MW wind facility.

This role requires hands-on leadership, budgeting, vendor coordination, and adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical degree is preferred.
• Windows/Microsoft Office proficiency and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation of the facility in a safe, environmentally sound manner.
• Prepare and implement operating and maintenance procedures.
• Recruit, train, and manage staff.
• Prepare annual operating budgets and status reports.
• Coordinate with customers and suppliers.
• Procure parts and services; resolve technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and contractual requirements.
• Provide professional and technical expertise.
• Perform QA checks and assist technicians as needed.
