Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year wind technician/wind mechanic experience or wind certificate program/associates degree, or 2+ years electrical work.
• Ability to climb towers and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and on-call per site needs.

Responsibilities

• Work with site & hub leadership to meet customer requirements and daily activities on electrical and mechanical equipment in GE wind turbines.
• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts to correct malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on variable pitch & variable speed turbines.
• Assist in all site operations as directed by manager with minimal supervision; follow safety requirements.
