Job summary

GE Vernova’s Wind Hub Technician role focuses on maintaining optimal turbine performance, safety, and quality at wind sites. The position involves daily operations, maintenance, and warranty repairs in a fast-growing wind portfolio.

The technician collaborates with the Site Lead and Manager to fulfill contractual obligations, documents work, and coordinates with GE’s remote operations center as needed. This is a field-based role requiring physical fitness and flexibility for shift work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience as Wind Technician or Wind Mechanic.
• OR minimum 2 years of work experience including hydraulic/electrical work and passing a knowledge assessment.

Responsibilities

• Work with site leadership to meet customer requirements and daily activities on wind turbine equipment.
• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement to fix malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on wind turbines.
• Assist in site operations at manager's direction with minimal supervision.
• Conduct diagnostic electrical analysis and document all work performed.
