Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Wind Technician to support onshore wind sites within the PA1 Hub, with local travel and daily turbine operations, safety, and warranty repair responsibilities. You will work with Site Lead and Manager to meet contract requirements and timelines.

Responsibilities include diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues, documenting work, and coordinating with GE's remote operations center when needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience as Wind Technician/Wind Mechanic, or 2 years electrical work.
• Passing a Technical Knowledge Assessment.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with site & hub leadership to execute contractual obligations daily.
• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts to correct malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on turbines.
• Assist in all areas of site operations with minimal supervision and safety compliance.
• Perform diagnostic electrical analysis and document work.
• Coordinate with GE's remote operations center when needed.
