RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Wind Farm Technician I to safely perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs across wind, solar, and energy storage assets. You will support maintenance projects, mentor junior staff, and ensure strict adherence to EHS protocols.

The role emphasizes on-site operations, documentation, and cross‑department collaboration, with on-call duties as required and a need to live within 1 hour of the site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or certification in renewable energy/electrical systems preferred.
• Proficient with hand and power tools and able to read electrical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of wind, solar, and BESS systems.
• Lead or mentor junior staff and support retrofit installations and complex repairs.
• Maintain thorough documentation and ensure safety and EHS compliance.
