Job summary

Siemens Gamesa in the United States is seeking a wind turbine technician to service and maintain our wind turbines. You will work on-site at customer sites within our district, performing repairs and preventive maintenance while adhering to safety regulations.

The role requires physical fitness and the ability to work at heights. You will collaborate with fellow technicians, communicate with customers, and travel up to 15% to training facilities and sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic fields preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% and hold a valid Passport and Driver’s License.
• Ability to work safely in a team and under demanding conditions; must meet weight and physical requirements.
• Experience with electrical systems including PLCs and converters.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining Siemens Gamesa wind turbines.
• Execute repairs promptly and safely in hazardous conditions.
• Collaborate with technicians to improve daily operations.
• Work at heights and perform physically demanding tasks as part of field service.
• Communicate with customers and site stakeholders effectively.
