Job summary

Siemens Gamesa in Mesquite Star, Texas, seeks a Local Service Technician to operate and maintain wind turbines safely and reliably, performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and inspections.

You will join a team focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement, climbing towers, meeting physical requirements, and maintaining records while supporting cost-effective operations.

Qualifications

• Two years wind experience minimum (or 3+ with degree).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to climb to heights and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Support the Safety Culture on site: set the standard for safety and ensure that others are safe.
• Support Quality in each turbine: perform high quality maintenance with the team.
• Drive continuous improvements: provide ideas to leadership to improve site processes.
• Improve cost impacts: perform high quality maintenance to keep turbines efficient.
