Job summary

Invenergy is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Manager for the Bishop Hill III Energy Center in Andover, IL. You will oversee day-to-day plant operations, safety, and maintenance programs to ensure reliable, compliant energy generation.

The role requires at least six months supervisory experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work outdoors, at heights, and in varying weather. A technical degree is preferred and US work eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Six months of supervisory experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
• Able to work outdoors in inclement weather and at heights.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation of Bishop Hill III Energy Center.
• Prepare and implement operating and maintenance procedures ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Recruit, train and manage plant staff.
• Prepare annual operating budgets and status reports.
• Coordinate with local customers and suppliers.
• Procure parts, materials and services; resolve technical issues.
• Ensure safety, environmental and contractual compliance.
• Provide professional technical expertise and perform QA checks.
• Assist technicians as needed.
