Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC, a field-based wind energy provider, seeks a Tiger Team Technician I to perform turbine maintenance and safety tasks across sites. You will lead maintenance activities, troubleshoot systems, and coordinate with the O&M team and contractors.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, relevant technical experience in wind energy, and a willingness to travel up to half the time. Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities are essential for this hands-on role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Journeyman or master electrician license preferred.
• Experience in wind, solar, or energy storage is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Perform turbine maintenance including bearing and gearbox tasks.
• Lead safety checks and uphold site policies during outages.
• Troubleshoot equipment and update software as needed.
• Travel up to 50% to support multiple sites.
• Coordinate with O&M team and contractors on tasks.
• Maintain records of service activities and tools.
