Job summary

Clearway Energy Group is seeking a Manager or Senior Manager, EPC Procurement to lead end-to-end EPC contracting across wind, solar and energy storage projects. You will drive market engagement, RFPs, bid evaluations, and commercial negotiations, aligning risks with contract structures, schedules and performance.

This hybrid role can be based in Houston, Scottsdale, San Francisco, or Denver. Collaboration with Development, Engineering, Legal, Finance and Operations is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, procurement and supply chain, engineering, or related field.
• Manager: 3-5 years of EPC contracting/negotiation experience, plus 2+ years of management experience.
• Senior Manager: 6-8+ years of EPC contracting/negotiation experience, plus 4+ years of management experience.
• Experience with large wind, solar, or battery storage development projects.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director, Procurement, in developing a best-in-class sourcing strategy for wind EPCs.
• Lead competitive RFx bidding and contracting efforts across functions.
• Conduct EPC bid reviews and contractor performance assessments.
• Oversee bid levelization and track cost movements during negotiations.
• Lead negotiations and mitigate cost/schedule risks aligned with Clearway policies.
• Ensure alignment of major project agreements to mitigate risks.
• Review scopes of supply/work to prevent gaps and define interfaces.
• Strengthen relationships with EPC partners and drive MOUs and milestones.
• Interface with contractors to gather market intelligence on trends and policy changes.
• Develop bidding strategies and qualify bidders; engage cross-functional teams regularly.
