Job summary

Clearway Energy Group is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager, EPC Procurement, to lead end-to-end EPC contracting across wind, solar, and BESS projects. The role reports to the Director, EPC Procurement and collaborates with Development, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Operations for contract execution and administration.

The position is hybrid and based in one of several U.S. offices (Houston, Scottsdale, San Francisco, Denver).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in economics, finance, procurement and supply chain, engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years EPC contracting/negotiation experience for Manager; 2+ years of management experience.
• 6–8+ years EPC contracting/negotiation experience for Senior Manager; 4+ years management experience.
• Experience with large-scale wind, solar, or battery storage development projects preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong contract language knowledge.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
• Proficient with Microsoft SharePoint, Office Suite, OneNote, and document control.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director, EPC Procurement, in developing and implementing a best-in-class wind EPC sourcing strategy.
• Lead competitive RFx bidding and contracting for EPC contracts with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct EPC bid reviews and contractor performance assessments; recommend supplier strategies.
• Oversee bid levelization to evaluate cost variances and key cost drivers during negotiations.
• Lead negotiations to mitigate cost and schedule risks in line with Clearway policies.
• Ensure alignment across major project agreements (TSA, PPA, EPC, etc.).
• Coordinate with Engineering to define specs, scopes of work, and interfaces.
• Build relationships with EPC partners and drive progress toward MOUs and milestones.
• Gather market intelligence on trends, tariffs, and policy changes affecting bids.
