Job summary

EDF Power Solutions North America is hiring Renewable Energy Technicians for roles ranging from entry to expert level to perform maintenance, repair, and operation on utility-scale wind, PV, and battery storage assets. Training is provided with hands-on field experience at various sites across the U.S.

Candidates will be placed by experience and complete a 3-4 week mandatory training. Roles require driving and physical work in a field environment with strong safety focus and problem-solving

Qualifications

• 0 to 1 year in renewable energy or equivalent field.
• 1 to 2 years in renewable energy or similar discipline.
• 2+ years renewable energy experience.
• 2-4 years of renewable energy experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety protocols, including LOTO procedures, and lead site safety assessments.
• Maintain company property and equipment safely and responsibly.
• Accurately complete all administrative work, including daily maintenance logs, work orders, time tracking, and warranty/inventory documentation.
• Attend all required safety and technical training.
• Maintain the highest level of system integrity and support site budget control by seeking efficiencies.
• Technician levels 2-5 participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for system monitoring and fault identification.
