EDF power solutions North America is hiring Renewable Energy Technicians for on-site roles in Albert Lea, MN. Entry to expert levels maintain and repair wind, solar, and storage assets, with mandatory safety training and 24/7 on-call rotation for senior levels.

Candidates must have a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and knowledge of electrical safety and schematics. Training courses will be provided onsite in Albert Lea, MN with travel expenses covered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Knowledge of schematics and electrical/mechanical components is expected.
• Advanced diagnostic tools and wind/solar industry practices are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety protocols and lead site safety assessments.
• Maintain and repair renewable energy assets, including wind, PV, and BESS.
• Complete daily maintenance logs, work orders, and inventory documentation.
• Attend safety and technical trainings; support 24/7 on-call rotation for Techs 2-5.
• Train and sign off on competency of junior technicians.
