Job summary

EDF Power Solutions is seeking an Renewable Energy Technician to perform preventative maintenance on wind turbines, PV power plants, and energy storage systems. You will troubleshoot under supervision, complete safety assessments, and contribute to a safe, efficient field operation.

Training begins with a five-week program in Albert Lea, MN, with travel and expenses covered. Competitive hourly pay, potential bonuses, and opportunities for career development are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of renewable energy or related experience preferred.
• Must meet Qualified Electrical Worker standards.
• OSHA 10 or equivalent certification required.
• Basic Safety Training (BST), Basic Technical Training (BTT), CoHE, Slinger/Signaler, NFPA 70E/70B certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on wind turbines, utility-scale PV plants, and storage systems.
• Under supervision, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade equipment in the renewable sector.
• Complete Job Safety Assessments and follow LOTOs; report hazards and participate in safety meetings.
• Attend safety and technical training; participate in on-call rotation and after-hours work when needed.
