Job summary

EDF Renewable Energy, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Renewable Energy Technician to assist with wind turbine and PV power systems maintenance under site supervision.

The role starts with a four-week training in Albert Lea, MN, with travel and lodging provided, and will be on-site in Cabery, IL. You will support experienced technicians with routine maintenance, testing components, and data collection while following safety and EDF core values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0 to 1 year related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid current driver's license and meet requirements to operate motor vehicles.
• Ability to read and follow instructions; English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining company property and equipment safely.
• Support technicians with routine maintenance and installation tasks.
• Test electrical components and mechanical systems, collect data.
• Work safely and seek guidance when unsure.
