Job summary
EDF power solutions is seeking dedicated technicians for maintenance, repair, and operation of utility-scale renewable energy assets including wind, PV, and battery storage systems. Training is provided through a 3–4 week program in Albert Lea, MN, with travel and expenses covered; positions range from Entry to Expert/Lead, onsite in Mt.
Stirling, OH. Roles require progressive experience from Tech 1 to Tech 5, with safety first and 24/7 on-call obligations for higher levels.
Qualifications
- Tech 1: 0 to 1 year in renewable energy or equivalent field.
- Tech 2: 1 to 2 years in renewable energy or similar.
- Tech 3: 2+ years renewable energy experience.
- Tech 4: 2–4 years renewable energy experience.
- Tech 5: Minimum of 5 years renewable energy experience.
- Must meet Qualified Electrical Worker standards.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to safety protocols and lead site safety assessments.
- Maintain company property and equipment safely.
- Complete daily maintenance logs and work orders.
- Attend required safety and technical training.
- Support site budget control by seeking efficiencies.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for Techs 2–5.
