Job summary

Nordex Group is seeking a Local Operations Manager to lead the safe, efficient operation of our Williston service area in North Dakota. You will manage Service Technicians, drive operational and financial performance, and ensure compliance with HSE standards as a key point of contact for customers and field teams.

The role requires building strong, cross-functional partnerships, overseeing project handovers from construction to operations, and delivering reliable wind turbine service in line

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4-year university degree, engineering degree, or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 6 years in wind energy or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership or operational management experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to travel and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Lead local service operations with safety and operational excellence.
• Develop and coach Service Technicians and Lead Technicians.
• Ensure readiness for new wind farm sites and handovers.
• Manage local P&L, budgets, CAPEX, invoices, and KPIs.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and meet contractual commitments.
• Coordinate planning, staffing, equipment and tooling needs.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance and performance standards.
