Job summary

Nordex Group in Portland, OR is seeking an Operations Project Manager to lead execution readiness for renewable energy projects. You will collect, analyze and shape operations strategies with the team to ensure readiness before handing over to Construction for execution.

You will coordinate multiple departments, track KPIs and deadlines, and manage interfaces between PMEPC, Nacelles, and Blades teams. A strong background in project planning, budgeting, and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of equivalent work experience.
• Full project lifecycle experience in power/industrial projects.
• Excellent written and oral communications.
• Understanding of cost accounting, budgeting, and contract implementation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate departments across Safety, Planning, Logistics, Material Management, Quality, Construction and Commissioning.
• Maintain and update the weekly Execution Readiness template with deadlines and progress, managing alarms and deviations.
• Update the weekly/monthly Execution Readiness KPIs dashboard.
• Perform Execution Readiness tasks assigned to the Construction team until the site team is identified.
• Serve as the link between PMEPC and Nacelles and Blades GLFs to control the readiness of main components via the PCT department.
• Provide offsite support to projects in execution as needed.
• Handle other responsibilities as assigned.
