Job summary

Acuren Wind is seeking a Wind Energy Field and Operations Specialist to support client sites. You will help define safety practices, monitor schedules, and maintain strong relationships with customers and subcontractors while ensuring quality and cost efficiency across turbine build phases.

Based in Texas with 6 weeks on/1 week off rotation, you will travel between project sites as needed and contribute to a collaborative, safety‑driven environment geared toward hands‑on problem solving and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in wind/renewables, energy, industrial or civil construction.
• College degree or higher in Business or related field; desired but not required.
• Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel between project sites on short notice.
• Ability to meet stringent deadlines.
• Self-starter, enthusiastic, and cooperative attitude.
• Experience in conducting inspections and site audits; wind turbine construction/operation knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-oriented skills.
• Willingness and ability to work overtime routinely.
• Highly detail oriented with exceptional planning and organization skills.
• Highly adaptable with ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Help define site level safety practices and protocol aligned with standards.
• Monitor project schedule and document delays; coordinate cost control.
• Establish relationships with customer, subcontractors, and internal partners.
• Demonstrate understanding of wind turbine tech to drive cost efficiency.
• Review quality docs and change orders; prepare backup for CM/PM.
• Ensure site data is updated in information systems and report progress.
• Oversee installation quality and audit turbine build phases.
• Communicate quality deficiencies with contractors as needed.
• Inspect work to ensure plans and specs compliance; coach and mentor teams.
• Follow filing procedures; perform duties assigned by Site Supervisor.
